ANNOUNCEMENTS

Homework: This week, students will be researching information for their Wax Museum speech instead of reading for their Daily 20 homework. As a reminder, the students Wax Museum project is to be worked on at home. 

CAASPP Testing

CAASPP Testing: CAASPP testing begins THIS week. To help your child succeed, please ...

1. Make sure your child is at school ON TIME every day during testing 

2. Help them get a good night's sleep

3. Send  them to school with a healthy breakfast and snack

OUR WEEK AT A GLANCE

Math: We will continue in our Module 6 books this week. This module focuses on time, data and graphing. Students will be working on lessons 20, 21, and 22. Students will receive a study guide in class on Thursday. Then on Friday, students will take a test. 

Reader's Workshop: This week, we will take the ELA portion of the CAASPP test. 

Writer's Workshop: This week, we will begin an informational report project on biomes and ecosystems. Students will be researching and gathering information from credible sources. They will create a biome poster and triarama to go with it. 

P.E.: Please dress appropriately on Monday for P.E every week.
