Course Outline
If you are interested in a career in hairdressing, why not explore all the possibilities in our fantastic state-of-the art salons.
The main aim of this course is to provide you with the opportunity to undertake a taster in the theoretical and practical skills involved in hairdressing. You will gain knowledge and practical experience of general salon duties, responsibilities of reception skills, and communication and customer care.
All units contained within this course require written work in order to complete a portfolio of evidence.
Entry Level
Students applying for this course should be working towards level 5 Literacy or have a previous qualification in this area at National 4.
In line with the guidelines for successful completion, students must adhere to all requirements which include:
