NPA Engineering SCQF Level 5 (In partnership with Babcock International)

Course Outline S5 & S6 pupils only

This Pre-Apprenticeship course in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering will provide participants with the opportunity to engage directly with Babcock International throughout the programme. There will be a particular focus on the Babcock International business at Faslane and Coulport including the various Modern Apprenticeship opportunities available.

PLEASE NOTE - An interview with College & Babcock International staff will be required for entry onto this course

Entry Level

Pupils must be in S5 or S6 in August 2024 and planning to leave in May 2025.
Pupils should have a keen interest in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
Pupils must have achieved National 4 Maths and able to achieve Maths Craft 1 during this course.
A strong personal statement will be required for this course.

Progression

On successful completion, pupils will have the opportunity to be fast tracked through the application process for the Babcock International Modern Apprenticeship at Faslane and Coulport.
