Course Outline

This is an introduction to Travel and Tourism focusing on Scotland and particularly the Activity Tourism sector. 

This course will give you a mix of different units and will gear you up to a full-time course if you choose to continue your studies.

You will get to do lots of practical activities including a trip to experience tourism first-hand and learn what’s new and exciting in the tourism industry today! 

During this course you will be involved in planning visits and activities, and you will evaluate your experience of taking part in an activity tourism pursuit.

We are looking for applicants who want to learn about the tourism industry and are keen to learn

This course will offer you a selection of units that cover some of the widely varying elements and subject in the Travel and Tourism Industry which will include:

• Activity Tourism: An Introduction

• Assist with an Event

• Basic Customer Care Service Skills

• Travel and Tourism : Scotland

• Employability Skills for Activity Tourism

Depending on your age and outcome on the course you can join our full time Travel and Tourism course Skills for Scottish Tourism SCQF Level 5 or NQ Travel and Tourism Level 6.
