Speech Recognition

Speech recognition (aka speech-to-text or voice typing) is an alternative to typing on a keyboard. Put simply, you talk to an electronic device and your words appear on the screen.

Although it seems instinctual, speech recognition takes training and practice and everyone approaches it differently. Students will sometimes become frustrated if voice typing is not accurate, therefore, training helps in the success of using this tool.
