Book Reviews with Google Forms

As students finish their books, they can submit a review using Google Forms. Teachers may grant access to the results so that students can see each other's recommendations and get inspired to read more!

Book Selfie

Students provide a summary of a book they've read as well as suggestions on similar books and recommendations. Students also include a book selfie with themselves and the book they are sharing.

Book Clubs Using Google Classroom

Google Classroom can be used to create a forum for book clubs. Teachers create separate Classrooms for each club; club members post thoughts and reply to one another on the Stream, post reading assignments for group members, and host group projects on the Classroom. Green Screen Movies for NF Book Clubs

Green screen (also known as Chroma Key) allows filmmakers to superimpose anything or anyone into a photo or video. To celebrate the completion of a nonfiction book club reading unit, students can create a newscast-style iMovie featuring green screen.
