Building Entry
Employees and visitors should enter through the main lobby entrance and check in with building security or reception as required.
Hours of Access
Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The building lobby is open from 7 AM to 6 PM ET from Monday to Friday. Security is on-site in the building lobby from 7 AM to 11 PM ET from Monday to Friday. Security can be reached at (202) 659-1387.
The building lobby will be closed outside before 7 AM and after 6 PM, on weekends and holidays so a key card will be required to enter the building at those times. For access to the building after hours, please click here.
Visitors must be registered with the Office Manager at least one business day prior to their visit in order to be approved through building security.
Keycard / Access Instructions
You will be given a key card from the DC Office Manager in order to enter and utilize the Orchestra DC office. Do not lose this card. If you do lose this card, please email the DC Office Manager to get a replacement.
A key card is required to enter the building and elevators unless you are a guest—guests must bring their ID to register with building security in the lobby.
The key card will give you access to:
enter the building via the lobby (during business hours and after hours)
use the elevators to the 7th floor
enter Orchestra suites on the 7th floor
2nd floor (amenities area)
the roof deck
Guests
Guests you know about ahead of time:
If you have a scheduled guest coming, please let the Office Manager know via email.
The office manager will notify the building Security downstairs that we have a guest coming in advance. Security will need to know the name of the guest, date, and time range they will be visiting (please send via email).
Let the visitor know our address and that they will need to present their name and photo ID to security downstairs when they get here.
Then security will buzz them into the elevator to take them to the 7th floor.
You will need to be at our Suite office doors, to let them into our office.
Visitors you don’t know are coming ahead of time:
Please email the Office Manager to let them know that you will have a last-minute guest. If they do not know ahead of time, Security may not let your guest up.
All guests need to sign in and present an ID at the security desk.
If Security has time, they will send them up. But more often than not, you will need to meet them downstairs in the building lobby and bring them up in the elevator yourself.
