Overview

Vision benefits coverage, along with Medical and Dental, is effective on the date of hire. Vision, along with medical and dental benefits, are administered by Anthem BCBS Blue View Vision.

If I have coverage through BCBS for eye exams, why do I need another plan?

Our BCBS healthcare plans pay for bi-annual eye exams.  However, the vision care plan pays for annual exams, corrective lenses, frames, and contact lenses, and offers discounts on laser vision correction and more.

*Group number for medical, dental and vision insurance are the same.

To log into the BCBS portal:

• 1. Go to https://www.anthem.com/login/ and register using your Member ID and Group ID information. If you do not have this information, please contact HR@orchestraco.com.

To download a temporary ID card:

• 2. Login to https://www.anthem.com/login/ 

  3. Once you’re signed in, click on “Request ID Card” and “Print” to get a copy of your card now and/or “Submit” to receive a new card in the mail.

If you choose just vision insurance, you will receive a vision card from Anthem. If you also have medical and vision, this will be included on one card. You can print an ID card through the Anthem online portal.

• Additional savings available from in-network providers. When obtaining covered eyewear from a Blue View Vision provider, members may choose to upgrade their new eyeglass lenses at a discounted cost.
