This assignment is an example of one of the many presentations which we were tasked to create for our Engineering Design and Development Class. This was an individual presentation that focused on defending our own individual idea to tackle the issue which we chose for our capstone project. For this presentation, I chose to tackle the issue of mouth breathing in regards to nasal breathing. In this project, we needed a problem statement, reasons for why the issue occurs, negatives of issue, and current possible products already out on the market. I met all the requirments and information needed for the slides presentation and actively introduced the idea of a product which would improve nasal breathing by preventing mouth breathing. In order to complete such a feat, I presented the idea of improving tongue posture in relation to improving nasal breathing. I have chosen this presentation as a glow assignment. One I can look back on and be proud of because of the fact that I was able to defend and tackle this issue for our capstone project. However, despite this assignment being a glow assignment, some takeaways from this assignment is my overall information display. I found that the information I added did not get straight to the point and was not visually appealing. For this reason, I will also look back on this and use this to improve future presentations. 

This assignment is an example of one of the various research summary sheets which we were tasked with completing for our Engineering Design and Development Class. For this assignment we were tasked with finding a research study or a source which would provide beneficial information to the design process of the capstone project. Due to the issue which I chose to tackle, mouth breathing, I needed to do extensive research to backup the negative effects which are claimed to occur because of mouth breathing. I was successful in finding a research study which aided in confirming the issue of mouth breathing to be a grand problem which needs a solution. Despite being successful in finding this research study, I found myself not capturing and gathering the information needed to benefit my project. In completing the artifact summary and critique, I was unsuccessful in not only writing the proper amount but also not going in depth on the information provided, reflecting on my grade as I did not get a perfect score on this assignment. For this reason, I have chosen this assignment as a grow assignment. I believe I can look at this assignment and grow by improving time management and in depth analysis of information. I found myself struggling to properly analyze the information because of a lack of time which I did not free up for this assignment. I will improve my time management to ensure the completion of future assignments.
