This assignment was assigned to us as a Women's History Month assignment. This assignment required us to research and write a essay on natural vs synthetic substances. We learned about the positive and negatives with natural and synthetic substances. We found that synthetic substances were purified and "safer" to eat compared to natural substances. We also put our opinion if we think there needs to be a new classification system for synthetic substances. I have chosen this assignment because it is a representation of my ability to voice my opinion on an ongoing controversy. I am proud of this work because of the amount of time and effort that went into the essay. I was able to get a good grade and voice my opinion, that we need to bring awareness of the actual positives and negatives of a natural vs synthetic substance. 

This assignment was a quiz we were given to test our knowledge on Formal Charges. We were given two chemical compounds and we needed to draw the structure/bonding of these elements. We also had to find the charge of the elements and choose the correct statements from one of the answer choices. I have chosen this quiz because I can look back and use this quiz as something I can grow on. I got a 0 on this quiz however was able to make corrections and fix it. Despite this, I was unable to manage my time to answer both questions appropriately. I also was unsure on how to answer the question because of the lack of understanding I had on the subject. In other upcoming quizzes and assignments, I need to improve my time management and put in the time to study and understand the subject
