This assignment is a Authentic Assessment we did to learn about, Linear velocity, Angular velocity, and Tangential accerlation. We did this by using a simulation online where we placed a ladybug in a position of a circle where we then found the radius between the middle to end of circle. We messed around with the angular velocity so the simulation can show us a graph which tells us how the angular velocity and acceleration are working. In the end, we found that the father away you were from the axial point the faster you needed to go in order to stay in line with something closer to the axial of rotation. The angular velocity is usually faster than the linear velocity because the angular velocity needs to travel faster. I chose this assignment because I was able to properly do the simulation and understand the diffrence between angular and linear velocity. I found myself lost and confused when doing the simulation but I was able to figure it out and finish this assignment
This assignment was a lab we were assigned which talked about Linear Momentum and Impulse. We were given a simulation where we could mess around with two objects and their velocity, mass, and momentum. We even could change how elastic the objects were, this meant that we could make them 50 percent elastic or non elastic. This lab was given to us to verify the conservation of momentum for fully elastic and totally inelastic collision. To overall verify the impulse momentum theory, and find the intial/final kinetic energy of the objects. I chose this assignment because I can use this as something I can grow on. I found this assignment to be very complicated and hard to understand. This was the case because I did not understand the simulation at first and the difference elasticity would make. I also did not take the time to fully finish the assingment because I saw as too much work. I can use this asssignment to push me to put in the work depsite the large amount of work presented.Â
