This assignment was a lab report we needed to complete after doing a lab on the friction of everyday objects. In this lab we needed to put a object on top of a slated board. We first put plugged the length of the slant board onto our data table. We then lifted the slant board until the object began to slide down. This information allowed us to find the angle that the object began to slide down, ex: inverse sin (20/61) = 19.14 degrees. Next to it, we wrote the physical properties of the objects we used. In the end, we wrote this lab report which covered all of our findings on how physical properties can effect the coefficient of friction of the object. I have chosen this as an assignment because I am proud of the lab report I have written. My group and I were succesful in completing the lab and understanding the concept of friction.
This assignment was a Authentic Assessment which was given to myself as one of the questions for my panel presentation. We were then given this same assignment to complete as a separate grade. The picture of the paper is my work from when it was given to me for a class grade. This assignment tasked us with learning and the case of phinease gage. A construction worker who miraculously survived after a mteal bar went through his skull. We were to answer 4 calculation questions and 3 thought questions based of the information of the incident. I have chosen this assignment because I am not particurlary proud of my work. During this assignment, I was unable to use the correct equations and had a hard time understanding which information to use. We were given multiple variables and I had trouble choosing which one's to avoid and use. I can grow from this assignment by learning to avoid unnecessary information when reading a question.
