Our school fundraiser kicks off next week! The Boosterthon Fun Run fundraiser allows kids to obtain pledges and donations to sponsor their "Fun Run" that will take place on Wednesday, October 7th. Students will be coming home on Monday with a lanyard that gives directions for how to register, however if you want to get a jump start, you can also go to mybooster.com to register your child and begin sharing the link for donations/pledges that will go towards your child's fun run. Thank you in advance for your support, as this fundraiser will support our school and students! More information about the fundraiser can be found in the newsletter below.
If your child qualified for Title One Reading Tutoring, your child should have brought home a letter this week. There is a parent meeting/open house on Wednesday, October 28th at 5:30 in the FL media center where you can learn more about our Title One Reading Program, and the ways to help support your child with his/her reading at home.
There is no school for staff and students on October 9th and no school for students on Monday, October 12th (Oct. 12th is a Staff PD Day).
Please check out the Community Connections tab (click on the three lines in the top corner) for information about additional Olmsted Falls and community based extra-curricular activities for your child.
If at any time you have questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact our main office at (440) 427-6400.

Friday Night Football Games
Hello, Bulldog Parents!
There is nothing quite like Friday night football in Olmsted Falls! Whether you enjoy watching the game, listening to the band, cheering with the cheerleaders, catching up with friends (or all of the above), Friday night football can be a fun, family-friendly experience and a great way to show your Bulldog Pride!
ALL Olmsted Falls Bulldog students know that at school we are taught to Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Kind. It is important to remember that those same behaviors are expected of our students outside of school as well, especially at school events like football games.
In order to make sure that attending our home football games is a pleasant experience for ALL of our fans, here are a few reminders about what appropriate behavior looks like for Bulldog students in Grades PK-5:
Walk! Don’t run!
Leave balls or other toys at home.
Remember that activities like throwing, horseplay, and playing tag are not allowed.
Sit with your parent or a trusted adult on the home side of the bleachers for the duration of the game.
Look for an Olmsted Falls teacher, principal, or police officer if you are separated from your parent or need help.
Listen to Olmsted Falls staff members who give you instructions or ask you to return to your seat.
Use school-appropriate language.
Wait your turn in line for concessions or the restroom.
Keep our school facilities clean. Don’t forget to throw away your trash!
Win or lose, cheer loudly and proudly for the BULLDOGS!
The first varsity football home game this season is Friday, September 4th. If you plan to attend with your student, please take a few moments to go over these reminders with them. Thank you and GO BULLDOGS!

Dear Families
We’re kicking off something exciting this year at Olmsted Falls City Schools—and we want YOU on our team! We’re proud to announce our new partnership with the Cleveland Browns Foundation as part of the Stay in the Game! Attendance Network.
The Stay in the Game! program is all about helping students come to school every day, ready to learn and grow. Why? Because being in school regularly makes a BIG difference—especially for our youngest learners! When students miss too many days, it can be hard to catch up on learning, build friendships, and stay connected.
🏈 What Is “Stay in the Game!”?
🏈 What Is “Stay in the Game!”?
It’s a statewide program that works with schools and families to help kids:
Build strong attendance habits
Stay excited about school
Celebrate small wins and progress along the way
And yes—there will be fun events, surprises, and special moments throughout the year inspired by our hometown football team, the Cleveland Browns!
🐾 Why Attendance Matters—Even in the Early Years:
🐾 Why Attendance Matters—Even in the Early Years:
Missing just 2 days a month adds up to over 3 weeks of missed learning each year.
Regular routines help young children feel safe, confident, and successful.
Showing up every day builds the habits and skills that last a lifetime.
We know that life can be busy, and sometimes things come up. That’s why we’re here to support you with resources, encouragement, and creative solutions to help your child “stay in the game” all year long.
Let’s make this school year one full of learning, growth, and Bulldog spirit! When we work together, great things happen—for our kids and our community.
Thanks for being part of our team!
Go Browns! Go Bulldogs!
Sincerely,
Lisa Williams
Principal
