Rules
Responsibilities
Rules team is responsible for the following tasks:
Creating and updating the rules for Shadow Accord.
Explaining and clarifying rules to the community.
Making judgments when issues surrounding the use of rules in play arise.
Maintaining a set of rules that promotes healthy and vibrant roleplay.
Balancing the health of the players, the vibrancy of the lore, and the dynamics of the game.
As you can see, being on Rules requires a temperament of fairness and contextual understanding.
Rules Changes
Adjusting to rules changes can be difficult for a playership. Should a change be required, Rules will announce the change at a minimum two months before it will be introduced at game. The only exception to this is if STs need a rules change for their plots. The full requirements of this exception are in the Staff and Staff Policies page.
Rules Policies
Rules is currently revisiting their policies and will be updating and submitting them as soon as they are able.
Our rulebook can be accessed through the Official Shadow Accord Discord. Public links to our rulebook are currently not allowed or approved by Shadow Accord.
