Not every player has to have a Food Worker Card (also called a Food Handler Permit), but certain players are required to. Usually this depends on if the player is working for an establishment that serves food.
If you work at any establishment (Wandering Bear or Lady's Lodge) and you are serving food that is prepared in the kitchens, then you are required to have a food handler's permit on file with Safety Team.
If you work for the Wandering Bear in any capacity (bartender, server, dishwasher), then you are required to have a food handler's permit on file with Safety Team.
If you plan to use the Wandering Bear kitchen for personal use, then you are required to have a food handler's permit on file with Safety Team.
If you wish to use the Healer Guild's, Rune and Rod's, Reading Leaves' or Lady's Lodge's kitchens for personal use, then you are not required to have a food handlers permit. However, you may only make food for yourself and must be supervised by someone who does have a permit.
Safety keeps record of everyone who has turned in a food handler's permit for game.
If you do not see your permit here, then email it to sa.safety@nwlarpers.org.
If you need to take the Food Worker's Card test, please visit the site here. This is the King County test, but Safety Team accepts food handlers permits from any county or state. The cost for the King County test is $15. Please be advised that Shadow Accord does not cover or reimburse this cost.
Once you have completed and passed the test, forward the confirmation email with your permit to sa.safety@nwlarpers.org.
