Artist Statement:
To me, I like to capture the beauty in the different places I go. One of the places that I would love to go for my adventure is the ocean. It is like a big piece of canvas filled with vibrant, colourful living things.
Chun Zhen put in a lot of effort and thought when making the art piece. I like the way she painted the background. It reminds me of Van Gogh's Starry Night. - Mdm Julie

Van Gogh was a Dutch painter who became one of the famous and influential figures in art history. He used watercolours and oil paints to paint portraits and landscapes. He is known for using bright colours and bold brushstrokes in his work.
He painted in an art style called Post-Impressionism.
