Artist Statement:
This artwork represents nature in Singapore: our waters, trees, birds, fish and more. It also represents our appreciation for nature in Singapore, a beautiful place where people can co-exist harmoniously with flora and fauna.
Drake incorporated a Singapore local stamp and used it to blend seamlessly into his watercolour artwork. He was able to capture the beauty of the co-existence of people and nature through this artwork. - Mrs Karen Toh
