Artist Statement:This inspirational quote that I created reminds me to always stay positive and to be thankful with what I have. I am most proud of the way my letters turn out as I practised hard to get the style that I had in mind. When I feel down, this quote helps me to remember that “in the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity”. ~ Albert Einstein

Students explored various calligraphy and hand lettering methods to understand how it can communicate with the viewers on both the linguistic and creative level. Through Lillian's style and the use of different mediums, she learnt to invoke and engage the viewers in a deeper meaning with her creation of a motivational quote. - Mdm Aliah Hanim
