Ingredients:
1.5-2lb of steak tips
3 Tomatoes
1 1/2 Red onions
1 tbsp of Ají
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp of white wine
2 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp of vinegar
1 tbsp of oyster sauce
1 tbsp garlic paste
Recipe:
Cut the onions in half, remove the middle (smallest layers) of onions. Then cut into equal thirds.
Cut tomatoes first into half’s and then into thirds. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes.
Cut your sirloin steak tips into small strips.
Season the meat with salt and pepper.
Mix the rest of the ingredients (ají, white wine, soy sauce, vinegar, oyster sauce and garlic paste) in a small mixing bowel or measuring cup.
Add oil to hot pan, cook meat on each sided.
Start working on your French fries (you can make them from scratch or buy a premade bag).
When the meat is close to finish , add them sauce mix into the meat. Let it cook until you see that the sauce has slightly reduced.
Add the vegetables into the meat. Cook until you see the onions become slightly transparent and there is a slight wrinkling on the tomatoes skin.
Note: If you want to add a bit of crunch to the dish, only cook the onions half way through.
