Cooking has always been in my blood. I grew up in a family where the kitchen was the heart of every gathering. My love for cooking started when I was just five years old, helping my grandmother prepare meals that brought everyone together. She taught me the importance of tradition, flavor, and love in every dish.
My grandfather was a chef in Los Angeles during the vibrant culinary scene of the 1970s and 80s, My father followed in his footsteps, becoming a chef and opening restaurants with my mother, where I spent countless hours soaking in the energy of a bustling kitchen.
The culinary passion runs deep in my family. My sister owned a restaurant in Guatemala, bringing local flavors to life, while my other sister channels her creativity into baking, running a small but beloved bakery.
Each of these experiences has shaped my cooking style and deepened my appreciation for food as a way to connect people. Through every dish I create, 1 aim to honor the legacy of my family and share that same joy and connection with others.
