Ingredients:
2 sticks of salted butter (room temp)
1 cup of natural cane sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp of salt
2 cups of chocolate chips (1/2 cup extra for toppings)
Recipe:
In a bowl add in both natural cane sugar, brown sugar, sticks of butter and mix until well combined.
Then add in eggs and vanilla extract and mix until light and fluffy.
Add in the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and mix until all the flour is incorporated.
Add in the chocolate chips and mix by hand with a spatula. This prevents the chocolate chips from breaking/falling apart.
Shape the cookie dough and add some extra chocolate chips on top.
Bake in the oven at 350F for 25 minutes.
Allow cookies to cool for 10-15 minutes and enjoy!
Note: For Fluffy/Tall cookies, let the cookie dough rest for 30 minutes before shapping and placing in the oven.
