Students learn about: the focus of research eg: question/hypothesis
Students learn to: Be able to identify the focus of the research
To guide you in formal research, a very clear idea is essential. This could be in the form of a question that would drive your research and become its focus. Alternatively, a hypothesis is a statement that can be proven or disproven through research. It anticipates a relationship between two variables and can be tested to see if it is true or false.
