1. A student has chosen to research  "the effect of socioeconomic status on the ability of individuals to access health services". Discuss the suitability of TWO reasearch methods for this research topic. (8 marks)

Week 5 - Due Monday 18th November

2. Michael is doing his HSC and conducted an Independent Research Project looking at the impact of phones on the wellbeing of teenagers. Explain some of the limitations his IRP is likely to have and discuss strategies that could help improve both reliability and validity. (8 marks)

3. Describe advantages and disadvantages of presenting primary data in the form of graphs and tables. (6 marks)

Week 6 - Due Monday 25th November

4. Justify the importance of ethical behaviour when using an interview as a research method. (7marks)

5. Outline the criteria a researcher should use when selecting secondary sources to use in a literature review. ( 5 marks)

Week 7 - Due Monday 2nd December

  Harry is conducting an independent research project on student participation in organised sport during the Higher School Certificate year. Harry will need to carry out the following steps:

 • access sources of data

 • collect and record data

 • document actions and issues.
