All KS3 students in the academy have been given a 'safety pin' card. This is a bank card sized card that can easily fit into a wallet or purse and  contains a QR code which links directly to a Kent County Council website. KS4 stiudents have recieved the link via email and their year group Google Classrooms. The link shares lots of different support resources which can be accessed. The following links are available from the QR code:

• alcohol and drug support

• benefits and financial support

• bereavement

• carer support

• disability

• domestic abuse and refuges

• emergency contraception

• help with homelessness

• LGBTQ

• mental health support

• report radicalisation or extremism (Prevent)

• relationships and sex

• special educational needs and disabilities.
