writing prompt: What happened in the bullfights?

historical fiction (8-10 sentences): It was a Sunday afternoon, the cool breeze of the summer air blew as the people of Spain got ready for the bullfight. The parades had just ended and the people were crowding around the entrance gates. The bulls were prepared beforehand, as in they were weakened with drugs, horns shaved, and impaired vision. As people were let into the stadium, the cavaleiros enter the ring. The bullfights have officially started. Then come the matadors, waving around the red colored cape that can be seen from miles away. The people in the stadium gasped in awe at the sight of the red. But, what they didn’t know is that the bulls are actually colorblind. Red is used so the blood can be easily hidden. The crowd cheers and the matador starts the fight. Every time the crowd cheers, another blood splat is added to the cape until the bull falls to the floor, and with that, the first session of the bullfight has ended.
