We are sad to see you go! When you do leave, we want you to have access to all of your amazing research, creations, and achievements. Many things will be on your computer hard drive or uploaded to personal accounts, but some things you will need to download to take with you.
You will lose access to your Google Account and your Toddle account at the end of your last semester: in January if you leave in December, and at the end of June if you leave at the end of the school year.
The exception is our graduating class each year. Our graduates maintain access to their Google Account (including their email addresses) until December of their graduating year (for example, the Class of 2026 retains access until December 2026).
Google Drive:
Select the folders you would like to keep
Right click, and select 'download.'
Google will compress into one or many .zip files
Double click the .zip file(s) to decompress
Go to your new Drive and make sure your conversion is on: (Top right gear icon, settings, convert uploaded files...)
Click new, folder upload, and upload.
You can export mail with Google Take Out, but it's not easy to get into your new account.
You can forward your important emails to your new account.
If there are any wonderful chats you may like to look back on when you're old, you can forward those too. :)
Contacts
Export your contacts and G+ circles with Google Take Out
Go to Gmail and at the top left click to switch to contacts
Along the top click on More... and Import
