Looking after belongings
Teachers work with students to teach them to become responsible and independent by looking after their own belongings (i.e. clothing, school bags, library books, lunch boxes, drink bottles etc.).
All learning involves making mistakes, so students will misplace items at school. To allow for easy return of lost goods, parents are asked to help by labelling clothing and other items with their child’s name and class.
Personal items at school
Toys and personal items are not to be bought to school. Any items brought from home to school are at the discretion of the parents and are the full responsibility of the student while at school. ISPP is not responsible for any losses.
Smart phones and smart watches are not permitted during the school day in the Elementary School. If students are found with these items they will be removed and kept in the ES Office for parents/nanny to collect.
Lost & Found
There are several places where items that have been mislaid may be found.
Items found in Elementary are placed in the baskets on the ground floor breezeway between buildings C & D
Items found elsewhere are placed in a lost and found area in the cafeteria.
