ISPP offers a curriculum for students from the age of 3 to 18. It follows the frameworks from three programmes of the International Baccalaureate (IB). The IB offers high quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools. There are three programmes for students aged 3 to 19 that help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalising world. The IB provides a framework for curriculum and instruction, assessment of student work, and professional development. Member schools pay for this framework and develop their own curriculum and instruction to meet IB guidelines. [Data from www.ibo.org as of July 2016]
There are three programmes on offer and each can stand alone, depending on the school’s needs:
Diploma Programme (DP), for students in the two final years of Secondary education (Grades 11 - 12)
Middle Years Programme (MYP), for students aged 11 to 16 (Grades 6-10)
Primary Years Programme (PYP), for students aged 3 to 12 (EY to Grade 5)
At ISPP we develop our own curriculum from Early Years 1 to Grade 12 using all three IB frameworks and a combination of various national and international curricula.
