HEALTHY EATING

Parents are asked to only send healthy food into school. We request that food items such as cookies and candy are not sent to school. Water is what their bodies need to stay hydrated, and we only allow students in Elementary to drink water, no other drinks are permitted.

To help keep all children safe and to respect individual allergies and dietary restrictions, children are not permitted to share food with one another.

To encourage healthy nutrition within our school, we:

• Do not use food as rewards or incentives;

• Support children in feeding themselves; 

• Teach students about nutrition;

• Encourage parents to send healthy snacks to school; 

• Maintain medical records on children’s food allergies

ISPP is a single use plastic free campus - food must not be sent in disposable plastic containers/wrappers
