ISPP extends a warm invitation to our students, our faculty and staff, and their families to enjoy our school facilities outside of school hours. We have a beautiful, green campus and our community members are welcome to spend time here together.
During school hours, community members are invited to use the cafe and the ground floor of the Learning Centre to join other parents or relax, while avoiding conflicts with scheduled school activities and breaks. Parents with arrangements to meet with faculty or staff or to participate in school events are welcome to visit those pre-agreed locations.
Outside school hours, access to the ISPP campus allows our community to use selected recreational facilities when they are not in use for school or extra-curricular school activities.
The facilities included in this program are:
The sports field
Elementary playground (excludes Early Years Centre)
Ground floor of the Learning Centre
Cafe (if open)
Library (during the hours scheduled for community use)
Swimming pool (during the hours scheduled for community use)
Fixed equipment (e.g. table tennis tables, seating) is also available for use, however you will need to bring your own equipment for any sports or games.
We ask that you review and follow our Community Access Guidelines set out below. These guidelines are for the safety of our community and the protection of our facilities. Please pay special attention to the requirements for parental supervision/permission.
The ISPP campus is a private space, shared with our community for everyone to enjoy. During recreation times, community conduct requirements are the same as they are during normal school operations.
Alcohol, tobacco and drug consumption and the possession of weapons are not permitted on our campus. Our normal parking, fire and other emergency evacuation procedures are always in place - please follow the advice of ISPP staff.
Please keep our shared spaces clean and tidy. You are welcome to bring food with you to the campus but cooking is not permitted. Please observe our single-use plastic ban and ensure that your rubbish is disposed of properly.
Kindly note that events, external vendors, advertising/promotions or activities with outside guests are not permitted to be arranged by community users. No fees can be charged by community members for any activity or event held on the ISPP campus as part of the ISPP Community Access Program.
Visitors are invited to use the school’s wifi while on campus.
Network name: Wi-fi@guest
Network password: isppfalcons
Water coolers are provided in the Learning Centre and other locations around the school. Please bring your own water bottle for refills.
School-sponsored programming takes priority over leisure/recreational use of facilities.
In general, the campus is open to the community during school term times on Mondays - Saturdays, from 7:15am - 4:30pm. There is no access on Sundays, public holidays or school holidays where both school and offices are closed. Please review ISPP’s Academic Calendar for office closed dates. Closure periods will also be noted in our Weekly Announcements.
The Elementary and Secondary libraries open from Monday to Friday, from 7:00am – 4:30pm. They are closed on the weekends and during holidays.
The swimming pool may be used from 6:00am – 8:30am and 3:00pm – 5:00pm on school days and 8:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays. It is generally closed during school holiday periods, unless otherwise advertised.
ISPP community members and immediate family members may use the pool during the above hours at no charge. An ISPP community member is defined as an ISPP student, parent or employee and includes immediate family members only (husband, wife, child).
Children must be accompanied by a parent (not nannies or carers) with a ratio of no more than 5 children: 1 adult. Please supervise children and follow the pool rules at all times. Lifeguards are an important safety feature but cannot and do not replace the close supervision of parents.
ISPP ID passes must be presented and the pool entry register must be filled out for each person upon entering the pool.
The pool may not be used for private lessons by coaches employed or invited by individual parents during the time set aside for community use.
All access to campus and use of facilities under the ISPP Community Access Program is at the user/family’s own risk. ISPP is not responsible for safety, supervision or medical support.
All parents/nannies must wear their school ID at all times (unless during sports/swimming, but it must be available for security checks).
School bathroom and change room rules apply at all times and Student Only or Adult Only rules must be observed.
During designated times for community access, included facilities are defined as informal recreational facilities and are available on a first come, first served basis. We encourage all families to respect the spirit of community and invite others to join or share spaces.
Community members are expected to adhere to all school procedures related to safety and security, child protection and emergency evacuation, following the directions of school employees as required.
Adult supervision must be provided for all Elementary children at all times.
Students in Grades 6-8 may not use facilities on their own. They may only be on campus with their parent/guardian or an organised activity led by an ISPP-approved chaperone. The Secondary Office may be contacted about chaperone arrangements.
Students in Grades 9 -12 may use the facilities without direct supervision on school days until 4:30pm. They may also attend on Saturday without supervision, providing a parent has granted permission and arrangements are made in advance. Please contact the Secondary Office to make arrangements.
Any damage to facilities or equipment will be charged to the responsible individual/family.
All adults and students enjoying the ISPP facilities are expected to adhere to the same code of conduct/behaviour guidelines outlined in the ISPP Guide for Students and Parents.
The ISPP Community Access Program is intended for ISPP community members only: students and staff and their immediate families. If you would like to request special permission to bring a guest, please email your request to community@ispp.edu.kh at least two days in advance of your planned visit.
The Elementary playground is designed for children 3 years old and over. Serious injuries may occur if the playground is not used properly or if children are not properly supervised. ISPP is not responsible for injuries or accidents caused while using the playground outside of school hours.
The following rules apply to playground use:
Use the equipment responsibly.
Be considerate of other playground users
Elementary aged children (11 and under) must be accompanied by an adult.
No food or drinks allowed on the playground equipment
Playground users agree to follow the instructions of ISPP staff
Playground users may be asked to leave in cases of inappropriate or dangerous use
*All activities in this area are monitored (recorded) by video surveillance cameras.
ISPP reserves the right to decline access to individuals or groups if that access is seen to conflict with educational purposes or pose a particular risk to the core purpose of the school.
