This term we will be focusing on our move into Yr 5.
Along with the two planned transition days, there will be opportunities for the children to discuss their next steps and to ask questions.
We have discussed our next steps, this included changes to us but also our next steps at school.
We have asked questions to help us understand our move into Yr 5.
Pupils will be taught
about different types of bullying (including cyberbullying), the impact of bullying, responsibilities of bystanders (primarily reporting bullying to an adult) and how to get help.
We thought about the people we can talk to if we are somebody we know is being bullied.
Supporting others
We have thought about how we can help others not just by being kind. We thought about actions we can do to help.
We considered how we can communicate ideas with the rest of the school to have greater impact
Pupils will be taught:
As part our our work looking at how our bodies change we began to think about what we were like at the ages of 3-4, we are like now and then what may be different when we are 18 years old.
We began to think about how our bodies will change as we get older. This was for boys and girls. We learnt that people change at different times and that this is ok!
We thought about ways to stay hygienic , healthy which are all good for us.
