Semester Report Cards

High School Information

• Starfall: language arts and math games, grades TK-3.  

• Go to www.starfall.com or open the Starfall App.

• Click Sign In     (website, Android) or Authorize (iOS).

• Enter your Group ID:  starfall@heartwood.k12 into email field

• Password:  Heartwood1! 

• Click Sign In.

• Epic: books, audiobooks, and videos for students age 12 and under

• The Epic app is now FREE for students at Heartwood Charter School.

• Epic School: Students use during school, 7am-4pm local time, M-F

• During school hours, students can log in to Epic School from school or home with their Class Code ugs8429, and read between 7am-4pm. 

• Epic Free: Students use after school, after 4pm local time, M-F and weekends

• After 4pm local time, students can access a selection of books on Epic Free for up to 2 hours/week, after parents sign up with an email address. Students can simply log in to Epic using their class code (ugs8429) to access both Epic School and Epic Free. Their reading experience will switch seamlessly between the two experiences, depending on the time of day! 

• Please use this class code ugs8429 at https://www.getepic.com/students and start using Epic, our digital library during school  

• If you do not see your student's name assigned to a monster, email enroll@heartwoodcharterschool.org with their name and grade level. We will get them added into the system. The login instructions are all the same as above once a monster as been assigned.

• Renaissance App: Not only can you practice the math and reading benchmark tests (Star), but you can also access Accelerated Reader (books by reading level with comprehension quizzes) and Freckle (differentiated math and ela practice) on the same platform.

• Login to Renaissance using your username and password (ask your CST if you need this information)

• Cyber Civics: courses in online safety and digital security, grades 4-8

• Online programs are available on a first come, first serve basis. If a program is full, you will be notified and placed on a waitlist. 

• Please do not sign up for any program multiple times for the same student. Login information carries over to the next school year for returning students.
