If parents/guardians choose to use drop-off vendors, they are still responsible for monitoring their child's academic work progress. This is very important, as most vendors do not cover all subjects in the master agreement. In most situations, parents/guardians need to supplement work at home.
Funding can be used for drop-off vendors through OPS if the vendor is approved. A single drop-off vendor can receive no more than $400 per month. Parents can elect to use all funding with drop-off vendors, assuming they meet the core academics requirement. No more than 40% of funds can be used towards vendor services if they do not provide academic support for courses listed on the master agreement.
Funding can not be used toward outstanding balances. All funds must be used towards the services occurring in the month or term displayed on the purchase order. Parents should register with the vendor ahead of time; do not wait for the purchase order to be processed; this may cause delays.
Funding can not be used for registration or membership fees. It can also not be used for free play services; they must have a direct instruction component.
The parent can pay out of pocket for additional classes. We do not need these records.
