Students in need of a work permit must follow this process:
Submit an official request in writing. The request must go to their assigned CST with the following information
Student full name
Name of the prospective employer
Hours per week
Students in good standing will have the request approved
Good standing= GPA of 2.5 and above, timely sample submissions, regularly attending LP meetings
Work permit requests must be submitted at least 14 business days before the anticipated start date
Once approved the CST will send the student the official document to be signed by the parent/guardian and the prospective employer
The signed document must be returned to the CST with a minimum of 7 business days. During this time the Executive Director will sign and process the work permit.
