For our final assignment, we completed a mail merge. This was new to most of us. It was tricky in the beginning, but we had a step-by-step guide so it made the task easier. A mail merge can be used to write multiple letters at once with syncing data.
We did some coding and created a properly functioning arcade game.
We were asked to formulate a game including two Sprites (a player and an enemy), food and a background image.
The theme of my game was a chase between a fox and a chicken.
In order for the game to function, blocks of instructions were 'fed' to the computer.

For this term, we had Ms. Cregan.
We delved into the world of Microbit - a software operated using blocks of code to function a game board.
We created lots of projects for example, I made a 'Polar Bear tracker', which gives coordinates on a polar bear's movements.
We used 'Canva', a site used to create posters, info-graphics and similar templates.
Ms. Cregan asked us to design a poster on any school subject of our choosing.
I made a poster highlighting the importance of incorporating fruit and veg into our diets, for the home-ec department.
