We cycled from Barna to Abbeyfeale along the railway line. We left the school at 9am and arrived back at 1pm.

I gave it 4 stars because the bike saddles were a bit uncomfortable and it started raining for a short period of time. Mr. Finn and Ms. Coughlan went with us. We hired the bikes from a man who lives nearby, and tried on appropriate helmets. In the beginning, I had lots of stored energy, but towards the end I was a bit sluggish and eager to go home.

3 things I enjoyed:

• The fresh air

• Taking a break from school work

• Going with my friends

2 things I learned:

• How the bike gears work

• What brakes we must use when going up ot downhill

1 thing I would change:

• I wish we finished the cycle all the way through, but we had to go home.
