Beaver Tech Family Newsletter

Week of 8/11/2023 V.5

A word from your Proud Principal Mrs. Garcia

It was a great start of the year! We were so excited to see our STARS. The kids have been absolutely wonderful. If you are connected on Class Dojo you are able to see our School Story and see the great things happening all around the school! We have had lots of district visitors and have received so many compliments on the energy and excitement on the campus. We have also heard several students talk about how clean the school is! I love to hear students and visitors see how much love we have put into the start of the school year. It's going to be a great year! At Beaver we have a mission. We believe that together (teachers, students and families),  we provide a safe and diverse learning community. We believe that learning is enriched through relevant experiences and enhanced with technology, so that all students are successful. ALL of our students are STARS!

Counselor Corner

Hello! My name is Amy Sinclair and I am your student's School Counselor! I have been at Beaver Tech for fifteen years, serving as a teacher for 10 years and now the counselor for 5 years. I love being a School Counselor because it's a job that combines my two favorite things: kids and helping others!

As your School Counselor, I provide many services. I offer individual counseling, small group counseling, classroom lessons, and crisis support. I consult with parents and teachers to help our students reach their potential. I also help ensure that our students receive the appropriate services for their learning abilities. Be on the lookout for a counseling brochure coming home soon in your student's Thursday folders. This will give you more information of how I can help.

Another way I help our students is by connecting families to community resources. If your family needs extra assistance this year, please fill out this form and we may be able to help: https://bit.ly/beaverfina.
