A word from your Proud Principal Mrs. Garcia:
It has been a busy and fun week! The students are working hard on their goals and celebrating success! This is a very busy time of year in schools. We want to continue to keep our students focused and motivated through this time. We work hard to make Beaver a positive and fun learning environment for students. Thank you parents for always supporting us!

Spring Parent Conference Window- February 12-March 1 - Teachers will be reaching out to set up Spring Conferences and discuss student progress.

Our district values your feedback! We are currently surveying BEAVER TECH families in order to gain insight into your perception of our school and district effectiveness. To ensure we continue to provide high quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners, we need your feedback. We want to know what you think.
To administer these surveys, we have partnered with Panorama Education to conduct our 2021 Family Survey. Panorama safeguards your privacy, keeping your responses confidential. The survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete, and will be a valuable source of information for us as we work to make our schools and district as good as they can be.
You may complete the survey online between FEB. 12 and MARCH 1 using a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Here is the link: https://surveys.panoramaed.com/garlandisd/FamilyWinter2024/surveys .

Variety Show
Time for our student auditions for the Beaver Tech Variety Show!
Auditions: Feb 20th and 22nd 4:00-5:00PM
Chosen participants must attend mandatory rehearsal
February 27th and 28th from 4:00-5:00PM
Variety Show Day: February 29
School Supply Drive
The month of February we will work as a school to collect school supplies for our classrooms! See the attached flier for the items our classrooms need!

Counselor Corner
Kindness Month
Kindness Month has arrived! Every February we work together to highlight kindness, respect, and consideration towards others. Our students will have lots of opportunities to show kindness and think of others this month through different kindness challenges.
Classroom Kindness Challenge - Students work together to complete kindness challenges throughout the month! As challenges are completed, classes will fill up their heart charts.
Family Kindness Challenge - Students will take home a Kindness Scavenger Hunt to complete with their family. Every student that completes it will have a fun picnic lunch with Ms. Sinclair!
Community Kindness Challenge - We will work as a school to collect school supplies for our classrooms! See the attached flier for the items our classrooms need!
Let's grow kind kids by giving them intentional opportunities to show kindness to their classmates, their school, and the world around them!
