Parent Survey Results
The parent survey results are in! Thank you to all the parents that participated. Your input is important to us and it helps us plan and prepare for the following school year. We want our parents to know how important they are in the work we are doing here. We are partners in your child's education and your input is invaluable to us.
A few highlights:
We saw a 70% increase in participation on the survey from this year compared to last school year. This is great! We want our families positively engaged with our campus.
Beaver Tech ranks in the 88% of schools nationally with favorable responses on the survey! This is amazing!! We have worked so hard to create structures that ensure our campus is a safe and welcoming learning environment for our families and students.
92% of responders shared that the school is welcoming to parents! This is awesome!! We want parents to help us with the work that is being done here! YOU are a partner to this work and we appreciate all the support you provide.
As we prepare for the following school year, we would like some details about your experience at Beaver Tech as we look to improve the following school year. Please let us know!! Parent Input
Student and Teacher
Survey Results
Teachers and students take a survey as well regarding the learning enviroment of the campus. There is no way to accomplish what we do here daily without thier input and voice! Check out some of their responses below.
A few highlights:
Teacher Surveys:
93% of staff are returning to Beaver Tech next school year. This is GREAT NEWS. Education is experiencing a shortage of people entering or staying in the field of education. It is so important to maintain our staff so we can continue to grow and build our school culture with continuity!
100% of the staff responded favorably when asked how positive the attitudes of their colleagues are, how positive the working environment is and how supportive thier colleagues are! This is wonderful!! We work hard to have a positive environment for teachers and students!!!
Beaver Tech ranks in the 95% nationally in thier school culture. This was a 21 point increase from last school year.
Student Surveys:
80% of students answered favorably when asked about the energy at school. It was a 12 point increase from last school year!! Our ultimate goal is to create a positive environment for learning so our students can grow!
83% of students responded favorably when asked if they felt supported by the adults in the school. This is great news! We are here for the students and we want them to know that!!
91% of students responded favorably when asked if the teachers are respectful towards them. This was a 5 point increase from the previous school year. At Beaver, we work hard to model behavior for students and respect is a big one!!

College EXPO:
Save the date for our 2nd annual College Expo on Tuesday, May 28 from 8:15 - 10:15 am! We would love to have you watch your student present!
Your student will be presenting on a college or university with their classmates. More info will be coming out on Class Dojo soon!
Pep Talk:
Students often need a pep talk to FINISH STRONG at the end of the year. Here are some things you can talk to your children about:
Remind students that we are still learning! Teachers are still teaching their grade-level standards all the way through the end of the year.
We have a lot of fun activities happening during May. Remind kids that if they want to participate in all of the fun things, they must follow our STAR Motto. "We are Supportive Team players who are Adaptable, Respectful, and we Shine bright!"
Have your student set a goal for their last month of school! This could be going to bed on time, turning in all of their work, or having no negative reports about behavior. Make sure to reward them along the way for meeting their goals!
Remind students to enjoy every moment with their teachers and classmates. This is the last month they will be a part of their class family! Next year they will have a new teacher and new classmates. Have them write a letter of appreciation for their teacher or buy them a gift! Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10... this is a great time for students and families to tell our teachers thank you for all of their hard work!
