National Elementary Honor Society
We are so excited to announce that on Thursday night we had our induction to our first active National Elementary Honor Society chapter. Beaver is one of three elementary schools in Garland ISD with an active NEHS chapter. The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) is a club for elementary school students who show exceptional character, leadership, and academic achievement. It's a great way for young students to be acknowledged for their hard work and commitment to service, responsibility, scholarship and leadership. Congratulations to the 40 students that were inducted! This is a great honor for our campus and our students.
We appreciate the staff that have taken on this project on! They have worked many hours to ensure this program has been launched successfully!
Thank you!
Thank you to Nicole Party Design donated this beautiful NEHS letters to help decorate our ceremony!! Check them out for your next event.
Thank you!
A big THANK YOU to Ms. Tiffany Martinez for the snack cart that she provided to our staff on Friday right before the break! The staff was so excited and appreciative of the snacks and the thoughtful gesture.
I appreciate it when parents join us in building our positive school culture.

UNITY DAY
Beaver Stars will wear ORANGE on Wednesday, Oct. 18th for Unity Day! This is a day when we focus on our school being united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
Something that makes Beaver so special is our diversity! We have students from different ethnicities, as well as with different learning abilities. Unity Day is a great day to teach our students that we are ALL different, and that should be celebrated!
