HKMS Happenings
Upcoming Event! (Hint: It's the first day of school)
Dear HKMS Families,
Our last week of school was a fitting series of events that served as an explanation point on a fantastic year at Keller. So much effort, joy, and celebration all week long and it is all captured in pictures, videos, and student work samples below. Also, in the happenings section are links and description of the summer reading and math assignments for incoming sixth-through-eighth-graders as well as for the incoming JBHS freshman. Please be sure to check this celebratory edition out.
Before signing off on the year, I want to send a few “shout outs” to those who made it such an amazing year.
To our head custodian, Mr. Alan Zingaro and the entire HKMS custodial crew, thank you for always making us shine!
To Mrs. Sue Cahalan and Mrs. Penne Rudy who make sure everything actually gets into place, that the bills are paid, and the details are correct.
To all our team leaders, Mrs. Dana Aponte, Mr. David Breyer, Mrs. Amber Dunkerton, Mr. John Macaluso, Mrs. Linda Maggi, Mrs. Jennifer Rose, and Mr. Tim Sather who always helps to implement and cultivate community decisions and always tells me like it is.
To Mrs. Annie Mohr, simply the best AP in the business.
To our amazing PTO who have helped bring so many ideas to life all in benefit of our students. We would like to especially thank our PTO Co-Presidents Gina Hicks and Beth Andrews!
To our central office leadership for their guidance and support though all the ups and downs of the year.
And finally, to all of the families for your active participation in your child's development and education.
We will send out a summer newsletter on July 28 with updates, news, and reminders.
Hoping you all have a wonderful summer and I can't wait to see you in the fall!
Sincerely,
Steve Clapp

PERFECT Attendance!
180 days without one absence, never late, and not one early dismissal! It takes real perseverance, supportive parents, and a bit of luck for this major accomplishment! When asked what the secret to their success was, they said, no screens after 9pm, early to bed, get up early and eat a light healthy breakfast! Wise words of advice!
The HKMS Musical Extravaganza of Awesomeness!
On Monday 6/12 the whole school came together to preform and enjoy each music group. General music students performed too with a guest appearance by Dr. Clapp!
Field Trips to the Easton Public Library
Brownstone Adventure Park
HKMS Field Day!
The Final Wave
The HKMS Staff gathers by the dismissal areas on the last day of school to give a final wave to all of our beloved students as they head off to summer vacation!
