International Legal Research Group (ILRG)

The International Legal Research Group of ELSA (ILRG) is a comparative research project of a group of law students carrying out legal research. ILRG is one of the Flagship projects of ELSA.

Findings of an ILRG shall be publicly accessible in a form of a Final Report of the ILRG, which consists of the research of more than 20 countries. The Final Report is published with the ISBN number, which makes it a relevant reference in academic circles. All Final Reports are published in paper form, as well as an e-book.

National Research Team structure

Every participating country needs to appoint a National Coordinator, who later appoints other members of the National Research Team - researchers, linguistic editors and technical editors.

ILRG is open to all students from ELSA member countries and it is not necessary to be an ELSA member to participate in the ILRG.

Topic

This year, the topic is Human Rights and Technology.

Partners

ILRG is published under the patronage of the Council of Europe and in partnership with the Queen Mary University of London.
