Internal Management (IM)

The Secretary General is responsible for Internal Management which consists of Internal Affairs, Administration, Knowledge Management, Communication, Information Technology, Human Resources and Training.

You may think that the organisation of the internal meetings, whether it be the International Council Meeting or your National/Local Council Meeting is the only thing the IMer does. This is a grave misconception. The Secretary General often has the best insight into all internal matters, they know the Regulations by heart and are vital supporters of the President when it comes to association management including setting strategic goals and managing the board.
