Board Management, External Relations & Expansion (BEE)

President is responsible for the overall coordination of ELSA work but such definition does not clarify a lot of doubts. As mentioned in the name of the area, these Officers direct the work of the Board, maintain communication within the team, plan and execute tasks related to external relations and expansion. 

Moreover Presidents represent the Association externally and together with the Marketing Officers take care of our image. They also supervise a process of strategic planning and its implementation with the great support of Secretary General, often initiating and conducting work on long-term and/or cross-functional activities of the organisation. Another responsibility refers to advocacy as Presidents are usually the ones creating strategies for various campaigns.

The most important task, however, is to support the members of the Boards in the performance of their daily duties according to personal needs and expectations and to make sure that every person has a space to use their knowledge and skills.
