COURSE CONTENT

Theory

Students will analyse and develop an understanding of the concepts behind film, narrative and photography. 

Through this understanding, students will develop a greater appreciation for the creation of media products and apply these skills to their original practical tasks.

Practical

Students will learn how to use DSLR camera’s to apply photography knowledge in a range of practical activities. 

They will learn how to edit photographs and film by implementing corrective and creative editing processes. Students will create a production design plan by applying the production and story elements learned throughout the semester, as well as participate in storyboarding and the creation of a short film.
