Geography

COURSE CONTENT

The study of Geography allows students to explore, analyse and come to understand the characteristics of places that make up our world. In this course, students explore the differences between hazards and disasters, and investigate the ways in which people respond to these. Students will also explore the characteristics of tourism and the impacts, issues and challenges that arise from the various forms of tourism. Finally, students investigate geographical change, focusing on changes to natural land cover and land use change characteristic to urban and rural environments.
