Paper tower challenge

Today's STEM challenge is to design and build the tallest free-standing tower out of paper, tape and string. The tower must be able to hold a small toy at the top.

Rules:

  • You can only use the materials on the list.

  • Your tower needs to be able to stand up by itself.

  • The ruler is only for measuring and cannot be used in the tower structure.

  • The toy needs to be at the top of the tower.

Paper tower STEM challenge

  • a small toy, such as a toy car or LEGO person
