Every student belongs to a group led by a group teacher. There are five groups per year group, so you belong to group A, B, C, D or E. Your group teacher should be the first point of contact should you run into any problems during your studies.
You meet with your group and the group teacher a few times per term. The times of these meetings are on the school calendar and attendance is always compulsory. You can also ask for a separate meeting with your group teacher if you have something on your mind for which Wilma-message won't quite do.
The group teacher's job is to make sure that your studies progress as they should, i.e. your grades are high enough for you to proceed to the next stage of studies and that you haven't got too many absences. Due to these responsibilities, it is vital that you communicate with your group teacher as early as possible about any issues that may affect your studies.
