Changing schools during PreDP or DP

If a student/family is considering changing schools or moving abroad, please contact the group teacher and the counsellor immediately. If the student is under 18, the guardian’s approval is needed in written form. The counsellor will prepare a list of course compensations for Finnish lukio and will contact the receiving school. The student needs to contact the school office to find out when they can pick up the school leaving report and return the school books, computer and other school materials.

Changing to a national side lukio in Finland

In order to transfer to another Finnish lukio, the student needs to apply in the national joint application or rolling admission in studyinfo.fi. Inform your student counsellor immediately and plan the change together.

Please notice that the student must complete all Pre year courses until being accepted to another school. Additional courses can be taken from the national side.
