The matriculation examination is held twice a year, in spring and autumn. Students can take part in the Swedish exam in autumn and they must register for it in spring. Students receive further information about this from the student counsellors.
If the student wants to take part in the Swedish B matriculation examination, they have to complete 5 compulsory courses ( PRESW1-5) in Swedish B. Students can also register for courses that are offered in Finnish lukio. It is recommended to complete the following courses before the matriculation exam : RUB107, RUB109 and RUB111.
If the student wants to take part in the Swedish A matriculation examination, they are required to complete 6 compulsory courses (RUA01 -RUA06). These courses are only offered in Finnish lukio, therefore students may complete them independently. It is recommended to complete the following courses before the matriculation exam: RUA07, RUA10 and RUA12. For further information, please contact Laura Luoma (LLUO).
